From booking details to what to pack during winter, this guide covers everything you need to know about staying at our serene mountain retreat in Duck Creek Village, Utah. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to reach out — we’re always happy to help.

Zen Nest is located at 1470 W Cascade Drive, Duck Creek Village, Utah.

Yes, we welcome day visits when there are no active reservations. Email us at [email protected] to schedule your tour.

We are a smoke-free area, there is no smoking allowed on the Zen Nest property (no smoking inside or outside).

Falcon Cabin features:

  • 4 bedrooms, 2 lofts, 4 bathrooms

  • Beds: 6 Queens

  • Comfortably sleeps 10 guests

Eagle Cabin includes:

  • 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms

  • Beds: 1 King, 3 Queens, 2 Doubles (Open Loft)

  • Comfortably sleeps 10 guests

If you reserve the “Dual” which is both Eagle and Falcon the maximum occupancy is 20 guests as regulated by the county. 

If you Reserve just Eagle the maximum capacity is 10 guests. 

If you Reserve just Falcon the maximum capacity is 10 guests. 

For 2026 : Dual will be 15 guests and Eagle will be 7 guests and Falcon 8 guests

Once we receive your request, we’ll send you an email with the option to book or hold your dates for 24 hours. You’ll also receive this via text. A 50% deposit is typically required at the time of booking.

Typically 3–7 days before your arrival, we’ll send your Welcome Book, which includes access instructions, emergency contact information, and helpful videos on how to use features at Zen Nest.

Check – in is at 3pm mountain time, we asks guests to give us an ETA for arrival so we can communicate the guest arrival with our host. The host will open up Zen Nest and greet guests upon arrival. Arrivals after 6 PM incur a $100 late check-in fee.

Check-out is at 10am mountain time, if you need extra time upon check-out please let us know as soon as possible, sometimes we can accomodate a later check-out time however when we have the next guests coming in at 3pm we really do need the time in between to clean and have the property ready for the next group. 

Yes, you need a Utah Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) education certificate to operate a UTV in Utah, regardless of street legalityThis requirement applies to all OHVs, including ATVs, UTVs (side-by-sides), and off-highway motorcycles, on public lands, roads, or trails. 

As of January 1, 2023, Utah law requires all OHV operators to complete a Utah Off-Highway Vehicle Education Course before riding on public land, roads, or trails.

Operators 18 and older must possess an Adult OHV Education Certificate.

Proof of completion is required for UTV rental at Zen Nest. We do not allow anyone under 18 years old to operate our UTVS.

UTVs will no longer be available for 2026 rentals and instead we encourage guests to book with a UTV rental company in Duck Creek Village, Utah. We can also help arrange this with our property manager. 

A helmet is mandatory on public land for riders under the age of 18, you can find various sizes of helmets at Zen Nest for our guests to use.

Yes! Zen Nest is gated and features modern security systems to ensure your safety and peace of mind.

 

Zen Nest is not advisable for children under the age of 12 due to the property’s unique cliffside location and some uneven terrain throughout the grounds. For the safety of all guests, those bringing children under 12 will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to their stay. We want all our guests to enjoy a safe and memorable experience, and we appreciate your understanding.

We are closed from December 1 until April 30.

Snow usually starts mid-November and can last into early May.

Yes! E-bikes and chargers are included with your reservation. You’ll find them in the shed, and more details are in your Welcome Book.

Yes! We offer a 2-night complimentary stay (travel not included) for approved content creators. Want to collab? Email [email protected] or DM us on Instagram.

We follow a 60-day cancellation policy, to receive a full refund (minus a $50 processing fee), guests will need to cancel at least 60 days before their check-in date.

If a cancellation is made within 60 days of arrival, the full reservation amount becomes non-refundable.

That said, we understand that life happens. In rare cases of extreme and unforeseen circumstances (such as natural disasters, emergency medical situations, or travel bans), we’re happy to review the case individually. If approved, we may offer a refund or future stay credit—at the discretion of Zen Nest management.

Our 2026 cleaning rates are as follows: 

  • $800 regular cleaning
  • $950 quick turn-around clean
  • $1250 deep clean more than 18 guests
  • $1750 event cleaning 

Yes we can do a late check-in. Checking in after 6pm Mountain Time there is a $100 fee. 

Normal Check-in time is 3pm
